The Boeing Company
National Memorial Day Pre-Concert Reception
The Boeing Company, a lead sponsor of the National Memorial
Day Concert, engaged H&A to provide strategic public relations
and event planning for an exclusive Pre-Concert Reception held
at the National Museum of the American Indian. H&A’s
ability to develop highly specialized guest lists and secure
attendance from ranking members of Congress, key Congressional
staff, senior military leaders and individuals important to The
Boeing Company and the National Memorial Day Concert was essential
to the success of this one and a half hour reception on a busy
holiday weekend.
H&A secured the venue, which offered a sweeping view of the
Capitol grounds as well as close proximity to the concert. Boeing
Senior VP Tod Hullin welcomed guests including Congressman John
P. Murtha; General George Casey, Jr., US Army Chief of Staff;
General Robert Magnus, US Marine Corps Asst. Commandant; General
Duncan McNabb, Commander, Air Mobility Command, and three US
Medal of Honor Recipients, Robert Howard, John Baker, and Roger
Donlon.
The event served to demonstrate the support of the world’s
leading aerospace company and largest manufacturer of commercial
and military aircraft for America’s defense effort and
the sacrifices made by men and women who serve in defense of
our nation.
