The Congressional Award Foundation

H&A conceptualized and organized the annual Congressional Award Gala hosted by the leadership of the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate. Proceeds benefit the Congressional Award Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to youth aged 14-23 that promotes volunteerism, personal development, physical fitness, and exploration.

In recent years, the event has featured presentations by Colin Powell, Tom Selleck, Mariah Carey, basketball star Grant Hill, and a performance by the Oak Ridge Boys.
In addition to actively fund raising for the Foundation, H&A managed meetings and served as liaison between the Gala Benefit Committee Chair, Congressional leadership spouse co-chairs, international chairs, and the event committees. With the help and guidance of H&A, funds raised have increased yearly.
