Recently H&A worked along side Discovery Communications and the American Film Institute to put on the 5th annual Silverdocs Festival, a week long international festival celebrating the creative vision of independent filmmakers and the power of the documentary to expand our view of the world around us.

H&A managed the invitation lists, RSVP’s and registration for the Opening Night of this momentous event which attracted more than 1,000 people to watch the screening of Pete Seeger: The Power of Song, followed by a post screening performance by folk music greats, Ysaya Barnwell (of Sweet Honey in the Rock), Odetta and Tom Paxton. H&A also assisted with the 4th annual Charles Guggenheim Symposium, a conversation with Jonathan Demme, at the AFI a few days later.

The events were held at the AFI Silver Theater and Cultural Center in Downtown Silver Spring and were followed by a gala reception at the Discovery Communications World Headquarters. VIP’s in attendance included top executives in the film industry and members of the diplomatic corps.
