Nickelodeon's The Big Help
H&A worked with Nickelodeon to produce the Washington, DC
launch of The Big Help, Nickelodeon’s public service campaign
intended to get kids involved in volunteer activities in their
own communities.
H&A secured a National Mall location and all National Park
Service, DC Metropolitan Police and US Capitol Police permits
for the Big Help bus, and arranged for the tenting, staging and
lighting required for this high-profile event.
H&A worked with Nickelodeon to design a kid-friendly event,
including activities stations and kid-themed food and beverage
stations, and managed the activities of all vendors involved
in the “show.” H&A built a guest list of key
audiences important to Nickelodeon, including Members of Congress
and the Administration, key Congressional staff and Federal agency
representatives, leaders of educational and non-profit organizations,
and the media, and provided media relations support to Nickelodeon’s
in-house staff, pitching the Washington, DC media.
