Paramount Pictures
H&A developed an event concept for Paramount Pictures'
world premiere of "Clear and Present Danger" - starring
Harrison Ford and based on the Tom Clancy novel - that served
to promote its recent merger with Viacom, increase the corporation's
visibility among Washington leaders, and provide an appropriate
opportunity to highlight its commitment to the future of the
film industry through a fund raising partnership with the American
Film Institute.
The red-carpet celebration began with a dinner in the atrium
and foyer of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, followed
by the screening itself, and concluding with a cast party and
champagne reception. Guests included members of the Cabinet and
other key administration officials, Members of Congress, the
diplomatic community, Hollywood celebrities, studio executives,
and select members of the media. A limited number of tickets
were also made available to the public with all proceeds benefiting
the American Film Institute.
