Washington Women’s Capitol Classic

Hayes & Associates assisted the US Capitol Historical Society in creating and executing the Washington Women’s Capitol Classic, held at The Golf Club at the Belle Haven Country Club. Proceeds from this event benefit the United States Capitol Historical Society.

The Washington Women’s Capitol Classic is exclusive to women and prides itself on being non-competitive in an effort to cultivate an atmosphere of fun and fellowship among friends. Participants have included spouses of the Administration, Congress, Military, and Diplomatic Corps and corporate representatives.

H&A President Leslie Hayes has served as Co-Chair for the event, along with Jean Hastert, wife of Congressman J. Dennis Hastert, Suzie Dicks, wife of Congressman Norman Dicks, Franki Roberts, wife of Senator Pat Roberts, and Diane Nelson, wife of Senator Ben Nelson. Lynn Cheney, wife of Vice President Dick Cheney, has presented the awards at a luncheon following the tournament.
