“Hayes Championship Team” for
TAPS
Leslie: I’m a bit tardy on this, but
I wanted to tell you how well I thought things went on Tuesday
evening, thanks again to the magnificent team you put together
in support of our event. I know there had to be a glitch or
two, but with one exception on the slide show of Sen. Stevens
I noticed nothing else. All of the comments I’ve received
have been complimentary – again saying it’s the
best black tie in town.
Thank you for assembling the “Hayes Championship Team” for
TAPS. Each year you give me someone different as the lead,
and each year they are better. I didn’t think anyone
could do a better job than Nicole – but Christina was
an absolute jewel. She was on top of every small detail (to
my knowledge, anyway), made suggestions of value, was not afraid
to take the lead when a decision needed to be made quickly
and was timely in responding to all of my requests. She helped
make this event fun!
I thought no one could do better than last year’s Katie,
but the new version Katie was spectacular in raising funds.
Perhaps it’s her late night work ethic, but she has the
ability to locate the right folks to donate. From my perspective,
we had an excellent working relationship and she could read
my mind (which isn’t too difficult) on suggestions or
decisions.
Mary-Beth was quick, reactive and played a key role in the
latter stages. She kept the lists updated and made them immediately
available. Wendy was there throughout, kept us on time as much
as possible at the event, and made certain we all were on stage
on time.
The rest of the team at the event all appeared to be enjoying
themselves and it was nice to see Nicole and Katie Hand there.
That’s a nice touch.
Leslie, you have the unique ability to keep a spectacular team
in place – not just for our TAPS event – but for
all the others you manage. Thanks for helping to make it easy
to be the Gala Chairman!
With warmest regards to you and your team,
Buzz Hefti,

Medal of Honor Day
Ashley,
Thank you for everything. It was a pleasure meeting you and everyone
at Hayes & Associates. I had a great time and I'm still trying
to get my head around Medal of Honor recipients calling me a hero.
It will take me a long time to soak in exactly what just happened.
I feel very fortunate that I was able to make the trip.
Again thanks and keep up the good work.

Dear Leslie:
“I’m having a wonderful time today reliving the Gala
and thanking lots of people for what they did to make it happen.
You and your team are right up there at the top. For the past
many months I’ve heard my staff sing your staff’s
praises. This was unknown territory… It has to be done
carefully, beautifully, and graciously. Thanks to Hayes it was
all that and more. I hope we have many other chances to work
together in the future.”
